I had read the reviews about this dress but loved the look of that much I ordered it anyway, however it is exactly as they say! The fitting around the hip area is awful and it bags where the seams join.
I have a wardrobe full of Coast dresses some of a similar style and they are all perfect.
Its going back tomorrow I am afraid to say!!!

lovely mix of colours and nicer than the photo, especially the grey,unfortunately the panels exit into the side seam at just the wrong places and the seams are not smooth over the panel joins, giving lumpy hip syndrome, not the usual standard

Every other Coast dress that I own (quite a few) is a size 10 and fit perfectly. For some reason I couldn't fit my boobs into this one and was really disappointed to have to return it!!!!!

i fell in love with this dress as soon as i saw it, but could not justify the spending, when i really did not 'need' it! so as soon as it went into the sale, i thought great-any excuse!! i ordered the size 8 and was very disappointed. at 5ft 5, the length was perfect for me- just below the knee. but the dress was cut in a way that seemed to exagerate the hips, and always wanted to ride upwards. the combination of where the boning in the top half finished, and the cross over white pattern, was just all wrong- even made me look like i had isntantly gained 2 stone! i also struggled to get my 32d's into the top half, and felt like it was made for a teeny A or B cup really! when i returned the dress to my local Coast shop, the shop assistant said that she has experienced the 'bad cut' of the dress with other customers too! sorry Coast, but not a good dress. however, i also ordered the Christi olive skirt as well, and that was beautiful and fit like a glove! So wont let it put me off ordering from Coast in the future.

This dress looks lovely in the picture but is not as fitted as it looks. The hip area is wide and not fitted enough. It is a lovely fabric but not for me.

The dress itself was gorgeous but when I put it on the overall fit wasn't good. Tight at the hips and baggy at the lower part of my back.. Not a dress for a girl with curves and when I say curves I'm a size 8 or 10 but my shape doesn't fit with this style of dress.. Was really gutted cause as I said it's a gorgeous dress :(

I bought this dress for a friends wedding, not only did it feel amazing on, I got so many lovely comments on how good it looked.
